A brand-new video course about classical oil painting and drawing techniques has been launched by the Web Art Academy. The Academy offers fine art video lessons that reveal, step-by-step, the full process of artwork creation. Art students can now learn by watching the fine artist in action.

London UK. A brand-new website offering high-quality fine art instruction has just been launched. The Web Art Academy reveals traditional oil painting and drawing techniques to fine art students through the use of high-definition video lessons.

The Web Art Academy was created to give fine art students a thorough instruction in the almost lost secrets of traditional oil painting and drawing. Natalie Richy and Vladimir London, founders of the Web Art Academy, explained why the site was needed: “There are many websites featuring works of art, art galleries and fine artists, but very few cater to fine art students and art enthusiasts who want to learn how to paint in oil and draw like the old masters. We searched through numerous art colleges and universities in the USA and Europe and were surprised to discover very few courses where students can learn from example by watching a professional fine artist create an artwork from beginning to end. That is why we created such a comprehensive educational resource. Now students can learn by watching full-length videos explaining how artworks are created in the style of the great painters of the past. We show every step of the painting and drawing process, producing the artworks right before the viewer’s eyes. In addition, we cover many other aspects of fine art education, all directed towards helping our students develop their creative talents based on a strong foundation of traditional art skills.”

Many websites talk about the creation of artworks. However, Richy and London point out that the Web Art Academy is the only place online where students can learn the almost forgotten skills of classical painting and drawing from a professional fine artist through videos of the artist at work. They developed this website so that anybody interested in practising oil painting and drawing can easily find out what they need to know, with just a few clicks of a mouse.
While a growing number of art students want to acquire excellent oil painting and drawing skills, and perhaps become successful fine artists, it’s harder than ever to get high-quality fine art education. Even at the top art universities, there are not many instructors who still teach traditional oil painting and drawing techniques through personal demonstration.

However, the video course from the Web Art Academy is available for everyone interested in improving their fine art skills. It offers truly remarkable content – 12 high-quality video lessons that are as good as sitting next to the fine artist in real life. Included in the course are 24 fine art books, which students can enjoy reading online or download to their computers.

A number of students have already given feedback on the website, commenting on how easy it is to use and how brilliant the video lessons are. The course is presented over a period of six months and can be taken from home on a flexible schedule. To learn more about one of the Internet’s top fine art educational websites, please visit the Web Art Academy at http://art.webartacademy.com.

A new Internet-based resource about classical oil painting and drawing techniques has just been released by the Web Art Academy. The Academy (http://art.webartacademy.com) presents fine art video lessons for art students and enthusiasts wishing to improve their creative skills.

London, UK. A new website specifically created for the fine art education market has just been launched after more than two years of course development and preparation. The Web Art Academy is designed to help people easily acquire excellent oil painting and drawing skills and improve their chances of becoming successful and famous fine artists.

Natalie Richy and Vladimir London, founders of the Web Art Academy, established the online club to provide students from all over the world with high-quality fine art educational resources. Richy and London explained why it was needed: "There are lots of websites about fine art, but very few are targeted to the average person on the street, someone who wishes to improve his or her fine art skills and has a limited budget and limited time to do so. We know it’s not easy to find a brilliant art teacher who is proficient in a variety of painting methods and the old masters’ painting techniques. Even teachers in the top art schools are not able to personally demonstrate the key secrets to the ultimate art of painting and drawing. We didn’t find any good resources online where art students can learn by watching a teacher create the artwork in real life. That is why we developed such a comprehensive resource that covers in depth the skills of classical oil painting and drawing. Our online course features video lessons that reveal the whole process of oil painting, step-by-step, from the beginning to the end."

Natalie Richy and Vladimir London created this website so that anybody interested in classical oil painting and drawing techniques can easily find out what they need to know, with just a few clicks of their mouse. The Web Art Academy’s video course is presented over a period of six months, during which time students will discover the almost lost secrets of classical oil painting. The educational process is very flexible and easy to follow. Students learn by watching actual professional fine artists create paintings and drawings, showing and explaining every step in detail. Such an "archaic" way of instruction is almost non-existent at contemporary art education institutions, where teachers practise an "express yourself" teaching approach, neglecting to deliver a deep foundation of traditional painting and drawing skill sets.

As more online resources on the topic of fine art become available, it becomes harder for students to find the essential elements of this broad subject. The Web Art Academy website is the one-stop destination for anyone wishing to learn classical oil painting and drawing techniques. By using this site, artists can immediately get a handle on what they need to know to master the great skills of the old masters.

The students who used the site prior to the launch commented on how useful the video lessons were and how easy it was to follow the course content. The website has all of the relevant information in one place without compromising quality. To find out more about one of the Internet’s top fine art websites, please visit http://art.webartacademy.com.

This video is for artists with a sophisticated taste in fine art and a love for conceptual meanings in artwork.
It is based on a large-scale painting named “21st Century Portrait,” painted by Natalie Richy.

The figure is done in a realistic but free manner. The sticky note is painted as realistically as possible to create an optical illusion, using the art technique called Trompe-l’œil.

By watching this video you will benefit from learning two kinds of painting styles: a hyper-realistic style and a free picturesque style that is reminiscent of a 19th century approach. You will learn how to make each stroke of paint artistically valuable and become a virtuoso in your art creation.
